After 3 years, 8 months, 3 weeks, 3 hours & 21 minutes....we finally did it!

Alexie got her very FIRST haircut.....EVER! My sweet little girl has never had a haircut. She was born with so much hair...and by the time she turned one, she had ringlets! I would just look at her hair and wish it were mine. My hair has a little funky wave that is just annoying! And Rob has straight hair....so all of us would just die over her curls. Well here recently, it has just gotten so long that it was starting to look bad. We talked about taking her to get her first haircut on her fourth birthday...but it could not wait until then.

I know, some of you must be thinking I am a total nut! But her hair was just so pretty for so long that I could not cut it. So after all this time, we decided it was time. Robbie has said from the beginning, "she will NEVER cut her hair"...but even he knew it was time. So we go to this great place called Cool Cuts...especially for kids. Alexie did awesome! I think I was the one having the meltdown. And surprisingly, Rob requested to go shorter than I was even thinking...SHOCKER! Needless to say, she of course looks beautiful! It is almost like she is not a little girl anymore. I know...it is probably all in my head! But, she is growing up so fast! Sometimes I look at her and I cannot believe she is that big! So, it was a very big evening for us....ok, maybe just me. Here are some pictures of the big event.
