Kylie is one unhappy camper right now! With the older two, I took the bottle away from them on their first birthday. They didn't seem to mind at all! They were drinking out of sippie cups way before and only had a bottle before nap or bedtime. Well, with Kylie it has been different. She has been drinking out of sippie cups for a while now too...but I will admit that it is more me! I know she is my last baby, so I might be hanging on to anything I can.
So, this morning at the store I picked up some more sippie cups and decided today would be the day! I was getting ready to lay her down for a nap and I handed her a sippie cup and she looked at me like I was CRAZY! As of right now, she is VERY upset in her crib. I can just see her...standing up, clinging to the rail, crying for her life....POOR BABY! After you have your third child (this is me, anyway!) certain things that you thought were important the first time around...don't seem all that important after raising children and everything is put into perspective! For me anyway, I have learned to pick my battles!
As if that were not enough for my poor bug! ALL of her binkies have disappeared!!! And I don't mean because I got rid of them! Seriously, I had more than 10 binkies at one point...and now I can only find one...and it is one of those that is attached to a little stuffed animal (do you know what I am talking about?) You might ask, 'so why not go buy her some more?' But now I am thinking...maybe I should just use this opportunity to get rid of the binky....and then I think, 'NO!, she's still a baby!' (I will keep you posted and let you know if I break down and go buy more!!) She really only likes a binky when she is going to sleep...and right now she has NEITHER! I am feeling like one bad momma because she doesn't have her 'ba-ba' (as she would say) or a binky! She is just all out of sorts! I just might have to go in there and love on her!
OK...I couldn't resist! I gave her the Clifford binky and some lovin! I think she is a little better now! It is quiet anyway.....

Hollie...poor Kylie...I remember when Kylie's Uncle Tory was being broken from his "binky", I swear while he was crying I literally craved the silly thing too!
poor thing...she looks so cute with that pacifier!
You can't take both at once!!!! She's having sucking withdrawal. Poor, poor Ky!
