Fun in the Sun!

Oh my word, I feel like it has taken me two years to complete this post...finally I'm done uploaded pictures (so there's your warning!). Anyhoo, our Memorial Day weekend was so much fun! Kole had a birthday party/sleepover on Friday night. They swam and swam AND swam all night until they were forced inside. The dad wasn't even sure what time they finally crashed. And I won't mention the part about all seven boys lined up together trying to 'tinkle' in their water bottles....because that is something that my perfect-most-respectful son would never do. I guess that would be the true definition of B-O-Y!

Husband picked him up at 10 AM on Saturday and when they got home, he hugged my neck and then said, 'I think I'm gonna go to bed now'. He headed to his room and we did not hear a peep from him until Robbie had to wake him up at 2:30 so we could head to our next get-together!

It just so happens that the friends we were going to visit have a little boy Kole's age and they asked if he could spend the night....OH DEAR! We got to their house at 3 and stayed several hours. And once again, they swam and swam and swam.

Do you see this precious Angel?

Well, I am praising God that she is still with us. The water was still pretty cold and she was shivering so I made her get out. She was walking around like an Umpa Lumpa from The Wizard of Oz with her floaties on, so I took them off of her. Long story short, we were watching her like a hawk since she didn't have her floaties on. Robbie was standing on the ledge of the hot tub while she sat on the step. Alexie came over and joined her. Jeremy was telling us a very interesting story and I took my eyes off of her for two seconds. The next thing I know, she is floating in the center of the hot tub face down...not moving at all. We did not hear one sound. I just started screaming Robbie's name since he was right there and Jeremy and him yanked her up. She must have totally relaxed (which usually they do the opposite and panic) because when they pulled her up she had swallowed hardly any water and coughed one time and she was fine. It just goes to show that you can NEVER be too careful. By the way....that is my WORST FEAR EVER! I took her inside to change her and just love on her and I don't think my heart started beating again for about an hour...I was a wreck. She just kept saying, 'Mommy, hold me'...don't twist my arm, hunny!

This was the best picture I could get of the muncherheads with their friend Kaiden....

After all the drama, we headed home for the evening leaving our party animal behind to spend the night. Kaiden's mom said they were out by 10 (I'm not sure how he even made it to 10!). We headed to church and Kaiden and his parents met us there. After that, we headed to my Uncle's house in Midlothian. I love going out there.....he has all this land and there is never a dull moment!

Kylie was more than thrilled to see and play with her best buddy, Bryce!

Sweet, precious Alex (I love this girl!) is always so great with the little ones...they love her too! She carried those two around in the pool forever!

Gabby soaking up the sun!

OK, it ain't even right that this beautiful young lady, Annie (who happens to be one of my precious sister-in-law's) is over half way with her pregnancy! Seriously! Just sickening! Oh, and did you catch Alex in the background with Bryce and Ky again?

Mason was just too cute! He stayed in his highchair propped on the table for over an hour! He was totally content just chillin!

Can you believe he is still awake and playing?

Kylie sunbathing....

Kylie: 'OK, look natural and I'll get you outta here!'

GO FIGURE!

Uncle C-day wasn't about to let a 5 year old show him up....

Sara and Russell came to play too! I love them to pieces. And I am so thrilled that they will have a little one arriving soon too (early December!)....I can't wait to love on all of these babies!

Oh, poor Kole! For him to get out of the pool and tell me he was tired means he was dragging...big time!

It turned out to be such a beautiful day.....

See the rainbow?

Have I ever mentioned these two are two peas in a pod? I love that they have the same color eyes...piercing blue!

Just pulled on the main street and they were gone!

And while we were doing all of this, my dad was on a trip with his Harley-Chapter-Peeps! What's so funny about this is that my dad is a very conservative dude....yet he loves his Harley! He sent me a few pictures from his trip. I thought this was pretty classic...only in Texas!

They made several stops along the way....they saw some pretty old churches.

We missed you Dad!

On Monday, we had the best time doing NOTHING! We are so blessed with such awesome family and friends...we love you all!

Hunter has that same blue water shirt.

One question....

And that picture of the little girl standing next to the baby in playpen, too cute.
