Robbie just received a voicemail from the person handling his case and she said his deployment date has been pushed back to November 8th! This is a HUGE blessing! They didn't have time to finish reviewing his case and they need more time. It doesn't mean he won't go, but one huge blessing is that we have one more month together. And then there is still that chance they will approve his exemption.
I have to say, I have had a very rough day and this is God just showing me His faithfulness. Please keep praying for His WILL to be done. You guys have been amazing and I'm not sure if we could get through this without your prayers. We are headed out the door...I just had to let you know since you have all walked beside us during this difficult time. Love & HUGS!
Update - Ha! I have just learned to laugh at this situation...how can you not? Robbie just spoke to the lady handling his case and the date being pushed back had nothing to do with us...ha! They had to push everybody back a month because they are so backed up. Hey, still a blessing...I'll take an extra month. I just thought that was humorous after the emotional roller coaster we have been on...why not laugh?!

Something I have learned in my llloooonnnnngggggg life is this: If I can find something to laugh about in the most stressful, scary situation, I know I'm going to be ok. Sounds silly, but very reassuring. God is good!!
