You know you are out of the loop when your 59 29 year old mother knows the words and beat to a hip/hop song and you have NO CLUE what is going on! I mean, I can pick up on a beat...but to know the words?! WOW, either my Mom is a lot hipper (is that a word?) than I thought (which is probably the case) or I am some old, boring fart woman living in my own little world (which is probably the case)! Let me explain...
Thursday afternoon we headed to Lindsey's parents house (who live down the street from Lindz) to celebrate Thanksgiving!! They decided to have a progressive dinner and start with yummy Thanksgiving food over at Grancy's and then go to Kyle & Lindz for desserts, drinks and FOOTBALL. Now, if you don't know anything from my past blogging, all you need to know is you NEVER know what to expect or what your gonna get when you are around my family. Everything can be fine and calm and out of NOWHERE (!) someone, like Kyle for instance, will go crank up the radio and start breaking it down. The great side to this is....it's always fun...never boring. The bad side to this....well, I haven't come up with one yet (I'll get back to you on that). Oh, I just thought of one....they (family members) will teach my 7 & 5 year old some crazy new dance moves that I have never seen or heard of (again, going back to the old, boring fart thing!). I won't mention any names (Annie)....about the time we returned from Mexico and my 4 year old daughter knew how to 'drop it like it's hot'! ;) I love it....it always keeps things interesting!
I ate way too much food to even speak of and I loved every minute of it! When we arrived at Kyle & Lindsey's house we found this sign on the door....
As far as I know, everyone was obedient and there were lots of shoes at the door (I can't believe I didn't get a picture of that). Not too long into our stay is when the above mentioned happened (someone cranked up the radio {after the football game, of course!}) and everyone my kids and a few others started having a little fun dancing!!

The DJ, himself...

Even Gabby and Jackson had a little fun!!
Jackson: 'What is going on?!'
Kyle is really so blessed with the best in-laws...they are so great and SO MUCH FUN! Here is Uncle Shaun and Grancy!
The whole gang...
Poppy & Jackson having a little talk...
Such a sweet family of 3...Chris, Annie & Will!

These two boys don't play when it comes to Texas football...

Will's talking to me!
All of the little ones L*O*V*E Uncle Shaun....Alexie is using Shaun's phone to text someone! And don't even get me started on his mad, crazy photography skills....I'm still waiting for him to give me some lessons - he is genius behind the lens!!!!
Goodness, I love them!

Uncle Shaun & Jax...
I think my mom took this picture and I LOVE IT!
