Meeting Santa - Part Uno

Seriously, I am so behind on blogging that I'm having a hard time getting motivated to try to catch up. So when you see my Thanksgiving post from all of our Turkey Day fun in December or even January....just pretend we are back in November, OK?!

Last Friday night, husband made plans to take us to look at Christmas lights. We decided on the way out to stop at a closer mall and see Santa. We have never seen Santa at this mall before...but I'm thinking this is where we'll come from now on. They had a lot of things to keep the kids busy while waiting in line...even the the wait was pretty short to begin with! All in all, it was a very pleasant experience!





Everything was done up like the movie Polar Express, so there was lots of fun things to see and do!









And then after we went through the train, it started snowing!!!







Here we are walking up to see the Jolly old man! I have to admit, at this point I had NO idea how Kylie would react. Since Santa starting making appearances at the malls, we would ask her if she was going to sit on Santa's lap and she would respond, 'No, Mama...I don't wanna sit on Santa's WAP!'. I told her if she wanted Santa to bring her gifts, she would have to so he would know what to bring...but that didn't get me very far.



So how do you think it went with Kylie? To refresh your memory, this is how well it went her first year, in 2007 (and yes these pictures are scanned so they are horrible quality, but you get the idea!)....



And then again, in 2008 (I'm thinking she isn't a fan!)....



So, how do you think it went? Was it a repeat of the previous two years...or did we finally turn the corner?
