We headed to the airport at 4 AM. That makes for an early morning when you go to bed at 2 AM! Regardless, we were all ready to play! This was the kids first time on an airplane (that they remember, anyway!). I wasn't sure what they were looking more forward to - the flight, or the trip! I was expecting both to be a blast!
We played a little bit of musical chairs. The girls started by me, but then Alexie wanted to be by Daddy!
Sweet Kole (it was still dark when we boarded)...

It wasn't long before Ky felt at home and kicked the shoes off...
And as we took off the ground, the sun was rising...BEAUTIFUL!
We dropped our bags off at our hotel and headed straight to Magic Kingdom (and the rain started soon after)!

LOVE how happy she is here - PRICELESS! This was one of the first (of many) parades to witness going down the streets. Ky couldn't believe she was really seeing Minnie!

Like Father, like Son!

Robbie took Kole & Lex to go ride a ride and Kylie and I went to a covered play area. It didn't take long for her to forget about them leaving and she was having a ball!!

If I remember correctly (the days start to run together), I think the ride was closed because of the rain, and they came back pretty fast to join us....

All I see in the next two pictures is E.T. Don't they look like E.T. when they go trick or treating and he is wearing a white sheet? Makes me laugh!

After this picture, it started POURING! I mean, really POURING! We had to kill some time before the girls had dinner with the princesses, so we went into some stores to look around and Kylie fell asleep in the stroller. When it was time, I RAN, while pushing both girls in the stroller, and their princess outfits, in the pouring rain about a half of a mile to the castle for dinner. When I got there, they informed me that the closest bathroom was about 8 blocks away (which I had to get to, so I could change them)! You should have seen me...I literally looked like I just stepped out of a swimming pool fully clothed by the time we got back to the castle. Needless to say, I woke up sick the next morning...totally worth it.
Poor Kylie was SO tired from being up since 3:30 AM, that she did not even want to put her Snow White costume on...she was half asleep and fought me the entire time in the bathroom. She is so out of it in this picture...too funny!
But when she realize that Cinderella was actually there - IN PERSON, it wasn't long before a smile appeared!
Up the stairs to the top of the castle...

It was nice to actually be inside enjoying a warm dinner with all of that rain outside!
And Snow White was the next princess out of the gates and Ky was SO PUMPED!

HOG HEAVEN!!
Each princess came around to every table to sign autographs and pose for pictures...

Husband and Kole killed time by looking for rides and playing in the rain (Kole was sick the next morning as well!) so when we finished eating, we were all ready to be inside, warm and DRY! We headed 'home' and the first thing we did was take hot showers/baths...the best after a long, cold, wet day!
And shortly after, we were all cuddled up in our warm beds!
We ended up changing our schedules around and decided to stay inside the next day since it was suppose to rain ALL DAY the next day as well. The hotel had a children's area and the kids had a blast coloring, dancing, playing, getting their hair braided (the girls) and getting tattoos (the boys {YES, Husband got a tattoo as well...so funny!}). Even though we were inside most of day 2, we had a fun time laying low! Check back for pictures and details of Day 2 in Florida!
