8 year recap of YOU!

It took about .00001 seconds to fall madly in love with you, Alexie!!



You were my thumb sucker from before you left my womb!



By the time you were 18 months old, you were already tagging along to cheerleading practice/games a few times a week (this was taken at one of our many outings)!!



We all knew you had a little sass in you, but I think this was the first time it was actually caught on camera (I simply asked you to smile.....and this was your response)!



I guess all of those cheerleading practices paid off.....you love to perform (3 yrs)!



Your very first haircut (3.5 yrs).



Pre-K (4 yrs)....





For your 5th birthday, you got to get your ears pierced!!!



Oh, there's that sass again (6 yrs)...



Riding in the limo on your 7th birthday to go ice skating with friends!



My big 2nd grader!!!!!!

Today has been so fun! Alexie requested some white chocolate & peanut butter chip pancakes to start the morning off!



Seriously, she is just too stinking big....I can't handle it!





Sweet Kole wrote her a precious birthday note and Alexie was so appreciative!! She just kept telling him thank you over and over again!



Opening presents!! The picture one the left is her when she realized there were more surprises in her new coin purse (two pairs of earrings)!



Alexie had to have a picture with Daddy before he left for work!! AKA - the twins. Have you caught on that Alexie is her Daddy's clone?! Genetics (God) just amaze me. She looks so much like her Daddy, it's scary!

Alexie, I hope you have had a fantastic birthday so far! I've loved watching your beautiful smile throughout the day. To say we are blessed to have you in our lives just seems like a huge understatement. I don't know what my world would look like without you in it. Your spirit and kind heart are contagious and you continue to touch people every day.

One more thing to store in the back of your mind for later. It may mean nothing now, but it will someday.
